This pear-shaped diamond was reclaimed from an antique piece of jewelry and was fashioned into a cut stone approximately 100 years ago. 

Its unusual shape and faceting pattern are a marker of its age; cut before the advent of modern lighting and technology, the gem-cutter who faceted this stone over a hundred years ago was evaluating how best to fashion it to best reflect its qualities under candle or gas light. Under modern lighting, the dramatic internal reflections and refractions present in this stone are truly stunning.

SHIPPING/RETURNS

If purchased as a loose gemstone, this stone may be returned for a full refund, or exchanged for store credit, within three days of pick-up or delivery receipt. After three days, a 15% restocking fee will be assessed on return of loose stones.

Gemstones purchased to be set in one of our made-to-order or bespoke settings are not eligible for return or exchange.
